Guilty -vs- Not Guilty

Guilty – Either you have committed a sin, find forgiveness in the wronged, then forgive yourself. Remember, forgiveness does not absolve one from due punishment.

Not Guilty – Find proof of your innocence then forgive yourself for the waste of the energy.  Displaced guilt comes from taking the blame for something beyond your control. Something such as birth conditions and weather, that is the ego trying to take credit for something bigger than itself.

Where Is My Fruit

This is the story that God wrote. Once upon a time there was a child. That child lives a fearful life. The shadows are a refuge. The shadows are a place where demons hide waiting to frighten. The light shows too much shame. The light shines on hope. This distortion of color made it even more so frightening because she could not see what God had wrought. Her little voice calls out from the shadows, “Where are you, God?” I AM HERE. She could hear not an utter except the stammer in her heart. If only the stammer and tatter of my heart would stop, perhaps the voice of God could be heard. Or maybe He will hear me, she thought. A troubled thought crosses her mind. I should throw myself upon my knees right now in this tremulous moment. “Yes, speak now. The force of my feelings should surely reach Him.” I AM HERE. This is too hard, she thought. There is a spot of soil under that tree. If I turn it perhaps I’ll find my fruit there.
